Do you know the difference between unlocking and jailbreaking a phone?

Unlocking (also known as cracking) and jailbreaking are two different concepts. Unlocking an iPhone (operator unlock) means unbinding the phone from a specific carrier, removing carrier restrictions from the phone's hardware, allowing it to be used on any carrier's network worldwide, enhancing the phone's mobility and allowing users to switch carriers at will. Jailbreaking an iPhone, on the other hand, involves modifying the phone's firmware to gain the highest system privileges, allowing the installation of third-party applications not officially approved by Apple. This breaks Apple's system restrictions and allows for greater freedom in customizing the phone and installing unofficial apps.
The phones sold on this website, whether Android or iOS, are all unlocked versions, supporting most global languages, the full suite of Google services, and network operators in any country.

Let's focus on jailbroken iPhones. The biggest difference between iPhone's iOS and other mobile operating systems, such as Nokia's Symbian and Google's Android, is that the latter two offer open user permissions, while iOS has extremely limited user permissions and is relatively closed, preventing users from modifying underlying system functionality. iPhone users have extremely limited permissions. Simply put, while the latter two devices have RW (read and write) permissions, iOS users only have R (read-only) permissions. Therefore, iOS users can only use Apple-verified applications (purchased from the Apple Store) and cannot otherwise modify the system. For example, on iPads and iPhones, Apple only allows you to download installers from the App Store. Unlike Windows, you can't make arbitrary changes to the system itself, or even access directories and files in File Explorer. To overcome these restrictions, we need to obtain higher system permissions, a process known as jailbreaking.
Jailbroken iPhones typically bypass Apple's App Store to download and purchase apps, causing Apple to lose some revenue from in-app purchases and paid apps. Furthermore, jailbroken users may not choose to purchase other paid services or content through Apple's official channels. A successful jailbreak allows users to customize apps, such as themes, fonts, wallpapers, images, and ringtones. This allows for any desired functionality, which is a major reason why jailbreaking is so popular.
AntEyeCam only supports black screen recording on non-jailbroken iPhones, which isn't as user-friendly as the Android app. Therefore, we've developed a background recording app specifically for jailbroken iPhones. This fully supports jailbroken iPhones running iOS 16.5 and below, enabling both lock screen recording and hidden background recording. This significantly improves security for covert filming.
